Palawan

Known as the Philippines’ last frontier, Palawan is also considered and known to be the “Cradle of Philippine Civilization” for it is where the remains of the old Tabon Man was discovered nurtured inside the cave over 22,000 years ago. Moreover, Palawan is a nature sanctuary, the alluring and magnificent Marine Park called Tubbataha Reefs, the country’s largest marine habitat, can also be found in this Island.
Palawan also boast of its 3,900-hectares reserve of limestone and marble peaks, the longest navigable river in the world names St. Paul Subterranean Park or commonly known as the Underground River. It is declared as a World Heritage Site by United Nations Educational Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO).
